Who we work with

  1. Founders moving an existing business to Portugal or starting a new one there.
  2. Professionals who plan to serve clients from Portugal through their own company.
  3. Investors who want to live in Portugal and invest in a productive business.

Every move involves at least two legal systems. Decisions made in one affect the other.

How it works, in five steps

01

Strategy session

We look at your business, family and assets, and recommend the corporate structure and visa that fit your case.

02

Business structure

We define the type of company, its ownership, the shareholders’ agreement and how it relates to the business or assets you keep in your home country.

03

Company formation

We obtain Portuguese tax numbers (NIF) for the shareholders, form the company and follow through on registrations and opening the bank account.

04

Visa and residence

We prepare and follow your visa application and, once you are in Portugal, your residence permit, including family reunification where applicable. The legal preparation is ours; the operational side of the process is handled by a specialised relocation advisory, a partner of the firm, which the client engages directly.

05

Launch

We support your first contracts, hiring and the regulatory requirements of your business.

Portugal and your home country

Moving abroad with a business takes coordinated decisions in more than one country.

In Portugal

Company law, contracts, real estate, visa, residence and regulatory compliance.

Led by Victor Queiroz, in Porto.

In your home country

We work alongside your tax and legal advisors so that your Portuguese structure fits your existing obligations. For Brazilian individuals and companies, we handle the Brazilian side directly.

Brazilian matters led by Celso Moraes de Freitas.

The strategy session

It is the first stage of our work: a 60-minute video session with Victor Queiroz and Celso Moraes de Freitas.

Afterwards, you receive a written summary of the recommended structure: type of company, applicable visa, steps and required documents.

The session is a paid engagement and starts with an application: you fill in a form and place the reservation. Our team reviews your profile and you receive our reply within 1 business day. If your profile fits our practice, the reservation becomes the session fee; otherwise, it is refunded in full. If you retain us for a further stage, the fee is credited in full against our fees.
